Each remanufactured gear goes through our Sheppard Reman Process which includes the following 10 steps:
- Degrease unit and thoroughly inspect
- Completely disassemble for remanufacturing
- Magna-flux all parts
- Replace all parts that do not meet Sheppard’s stringent engineering specs
- Reassemble unit
- Test to Sheppard production specs
- Paint and relabel
- Package in tri-wall carton
- Distribute through truck manufacture’s PDC
- One year/ unlimited mileage warranty
Our Reman program features an easy return policy. We will accept all cores based on the vehicle application and steering gear family to take the hassle out of core identification and virtually eliminate core rejection.
