Jeff Tipton

Vice President of Engineering

Jeff Tipton is the Vice President of Engineering at RH Sheppard, where he leads new product development, supports existing product lines, and oversees validation testing for hydro‑mechanical steering systems. He also has executive responsibility for Quality and Manufacturing Engineering, ensuring robust processes, product reliability, and operational excellence across the organization. In addition, Jeff manages the strategic roadmap of the product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle—from concept to retirement.

Since joining RHS in 2002, Jeff has cultivated deep expertise in manufacturing processes, with a particular focus on assembly operations, iron castings, and precision steel components. His technical leadership and innovative contributions have resulted in multiple patents related to steering system technologies.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Certificate in Engineering Management from Drexel University.
