Jim Barber

Vice President of Commercial

Jim Barber is the Vice President of Commercial at RH Sheppard Company, Inc., based in Hanover, PA. He oversees sales, service, aftermarket parts, customer service, and warranty operations, with a focus on delivering advanced steering technologies and top-tier support to customers across the commercial vehicle industry.

With over 30 years of experience, Jim brings deep knowledge of service, dealer and fleet sales, and OEM account management. He is recognized for establishing strong customer relationships and delivering product solutions supported by exceptional service.

Jim joined RH Sheppard before its acquisition by Balmoral Funds from Bendix. His earlier roles at Eaton and Bendix included leadership in OEM accounts, fleet sales, and national account management, where he consistently advanced through key positions.

Starting his career as a diesel mechanic, Jim holds a degree from Mercer County Vocational Technical School and a BBA from American Intercontinental University.

He lives in Ohio with his wife, Tracy. They have two sons and seven grandchildren.
