Day Shift Foundry Plant Supervisor

We are seeking a day shift Foundry Plant Supervisor to join our Team. This individual will be responsible for directing, coaching, and developing inspectors; reviewing daily logs and promptly resolving issues; collaborating with other departments regarding orders and delivery schedules; implementing policies and procedures; recommending improvements in production methods, equipment operating procedures and working conditions; executing light to moderate repair on equipment of all types and sizes; and leading, training and coordinating the activities of Inspectors.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent (post high school education a plus), with three to five years' experience in a supervisory role.  The ideal individual will have knowledge of complex equipment repair methods and technologies, shell process of producing cores, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer.  The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver fully documented processes to production by specifying, designing and ordering machinery and tooling.  The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating new manufacturing designs that will result in substantial improvements in cost and quality.  The individual must be able to work under minimal supervision and interact with commercial customers as well as various Sheppard departments. The incumbent must have knowledge of the MS Office Suite and CAD/CAM software; the ability to evaluate the design of parts/components/assemblies to determine the most economical systems, processes and methods of manufacture, including the proper tools, equipment and facilities; knowledge of machinery and automation and lean tools to be used to improve processes; the ability to work and/or lead within a team environment with cross-functional participants and make decisions independently, based on overall objectives established by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Electronic Technician

We are seeking an ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN for our Foundry Maintenance Department. The individual will be responsible for: fabricating, installing and maintaining all electrical systems and panels, i.e. air conditioning, lighting, mechanics, gages, clocks, boiler controls, generators, compressors, etc.; and replace and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using hand tools and testing instruments.

The incumbent will work regularly with voltages up to and including 480 volts; wire and rewire machinery using various circuits and phases, prints, charts or wiring diagrams; install conduit and piping; work on wiring system for machinery; remove and replace motors, shields, covers, panels, solenoids and other similar electrical components; make repairs as needed by soldering; inspect completed work to assure it conforms with requirements of local building and safety codes; perform required operations on equipment by reading electrical prints and electrical diagrams accurately and follow layout of circuitry necessary to the machine function.

The ideal candidate will possess high school diploma or equivalent, technical degree, and three to five years industrial maintenance experience, including moderate to complex repairs on various types of manufacturing equipment.
