Maintenance Supervisor, Weekend Shift

This individual will be responsible for maintaining, rebuilding and repairing a wide variety of production machines and equipment, and for the proper maintenance (both mechanical and electrical) of the foundry production buildings and facilities. Qualifications include: Vocational/Technical/Skilled Trades training, broad knowledge of building maintenance and machine repair/rebuilding, in depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance as well as strong supervisory skills.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER to join our Engineering Team. This individual will be responsible for managing major company projects from concept through production completion, and assuring that the work is completed on schedule and within submitted budget.

This person will also be responsible for working with the Product Development group in the designing of new products. Responsibility includes sourcing of manufacturers for prototype and production parts and visiting supplier facilities as needed; completing the costing of operations, parts and machinery necessary to take the product to production; insuring the quality of necessary tooling by maintaining a constant awareness of the specialties and capabilities of a wide variety of tooling and recommending the selection of firms to supply the tooling; complying with product feasibility studies by recommending any changes in vendor print designs; and insuring conformance to required standards and time schedules by making timely investigations at various locations and recommending methods of resolving manufacturing problems as they arise.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least three to five years experience in the field. In addition, candidate will have: a thorough understanding of manufacturing methods and processes, including flow, layout and assembly and production equipment; a thorough knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and manufacturing quality tools; proficiency conducting and leading time study efforts; significant experience designing plant and line layouts; excellent planning and organization skills; excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; and familiarity with simulation packages.
